Privacy Policy — GE to RU/EN translator
GE to RU/EN translator is a Chrome extension that translates Georgian (ka) page text, dialogs, iframes, and PDFs into English or Russian. This policy describes what data is processed and why.
Data we process

Text for translation. Visible page/PDF strings (and selected
attributes such as titles) may be sent to Google’s public translate endpoint
(
translate.googleapis.com) to obtain a translation. -
Local settings. Power on/off, preferred language, per-site
enable flags, and a translation cache are stored in
chrome.storage.localon your device. - No accounts. The extension does not create user accounts and does not collect names, emails, or payment data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not run advertising or analytics SDKs.

We do not remotely load or evaluate third-party JavaScript into pages for
translation (no Google Translate widget / remote
eval).
Third parties
Translation requests go to Google Translate’s HTTP API. Google’s own privacy terms apply to that traffic. See Google Privacy Policy.
Permissions (why they exist)
- activeTab / scripting — read and replace text on the active page.
- storage — save settings and cache.
- webNavigation — detect late-loading iframes to translate.
- sidePanel — show PDF translation UI.

Host access — pages you open (http/https/file) and
translate.googleapis.comfor API calls.
